Background: Boggy Creek Elementary needed a unique identity that differentiated them from typical predator mascots while connecting to Florida’s environmental heritage and the school’s values.
Our Task: Create a friendly, memorable Manatee mascot approachable for young students that celebrates gentleness, resilience, and local pride.
Our Action: Developed a comprehensive manatee mascot system in “Boggy Blue” and deep slate—soft rounded forms, circular crest with collegiate wordmarks engineered for signage, apparel, and athletics.
Outcome: Rare and distinctive identity deployed campus-wide. Manatee mascot provides strong differentiation within district while reinforcing environmental education mission.

A clean, high-contrast version of the logo was created for outdoor signage, delivering instant curb appeal.
Spirit Wear
From T-shirts to hats, the new design shines across all student apparel. Bold lines and clean shapes ensure visibility at any size.
School Accessories
Folders, backpacks, and gear were all given the branded treatment. These everyday items reinforce a sense of pride and belonging.
Wall & Wayfinding
We mocked up logo applications on hallway signs and entry points to help guide the in-school rollout.
The Result
Boggy Creek Elementary now has a cohesive, scalable, and professional mascot identity system. It reflects the warmth and pride of the school while giving the community a visual brand they can wear, post, print, and share.
The new logo is now proudly displayed on student apparel, campus signage, and throughout the school district’s materials.
