A youth sports club usually has one person pricing a mascot costume for a committee: a football, soccer, hockey, baseball, or cheer board that has to see a number before it can vote. The costume is built for your character. The price depends on whether you already have a design, which build you choose, who will wear it, and where it ships.

This page is the public process and the public starting prices. The quote for your club is the next step. Get a Quote.

How a youth sports club gets a mascot costume

Start with what you already have. Send the logo, a drawing, or a short description of the mascot, the colors, and the sport. A description is enough when the club does not have artwork yet.

We draw a pencil sketch, front and back. Then we make a 3D render of the costume, front and back. You can ask for changes in the design rounds. The costume is not built until you approve that render.

After you approve it, we build the costume. You pay in full before the build starts. Shipping is quoted separately, once we know the destination.

The same steps apply if the club is adapting a mascot the players already know, or asking us to design the character. The youth sports costume page is where the quote form lives. The full price breakdown is on the mascot costume service.

What the costume costs

These are starting prices, published for a complete costume. Shipping is not included.

Adapted from a design you already have

  • Simple, from $3,995
  • Premium, from $5,500

Designed from scratch

  • Simple, from $4,750
  • Premium, from $6,250

A costume is paid in full. That payment reserves the build. We accept card, ACH, and wire. A purchase order is welcome as paperwork. The payment against it is still card, ACH, or wire. We do not accept checks.

What changes the price

Five things move a quote.

A bear mascot costume high-fives a line of young basketball players in red uniforms in a community gym as parents watch from the bleachers.

A design you already have, or a new one

If the club has a mascot the players recognize, we adapt that design so it works as a costume. That path starts at $3,995 for Simple and $5,500 for Premium.

If the character still has to be drawn, the costume starts at $4,750 for Simple and $6,250 for Premium. The design is drawn for the costume, then built. A separate logo package is its own project, priced on the pricing page.

Simple or Premium

Both builds are the same character, the same design, and the same colors, built to the render you approve.

Simple is a head carved from foam by hand, working from that render, with standard materials and in-head ventilation.

Premium is a head sculpted by machine from the 3D model you approve. The brow, the muzzle, and the jaw come out as close to the render as the process allows, and the two sides match closely. Both heads are finished by hand after they are shaped. Premium also uses higher-density foam, long-pile fur, and a built-in fan.

A detailed face, such as a bulldog’s brow or a bear’s muzzle, is where the shaping shows. On a large, simple shape, such as a bird whose beak carries the character, hand carving comes out close either way. The materials apply to every character. The comparison is on the mascot costume service.

How many people will wear it

Most costumes fit performers from 5 feet 4 inches to 6 feet 2 inches, with fitting guidance so more than one person can wear the suit. Tell us the height range when you ask for a quote.

We do not publish a separate price for height. If your players sit outside that range, say so. The quote accounts for the range.

Cooling and a carry bag

A built-in fan is part of the Premium build. Simple includes in-head ventilation. We do not publish a separate fan price.

We also do not publish a price for a costume carry bag. If the club needs something outside the two builds, put it on the quote.

Some clubs also want a tunnel the team runs through. That is a different product. An inflatable spirit tunnel starts at $4,495, and shipping is quoted separately. It is a standing tunnel. Nobody wears it.

Where it ships

Shipping is quoted separately. It depends on the destination. The starting prices above are for the costume only.

What to send with your quote

The form needs enough to price the costume. Send:

  • The artwork, or a plain description of the mascot if you do not have art yet
  • The colors and the sport
  • The height range of the people who will wear it
  • The shipping destination
