Simpson University athletics started in the 1950’s and now is comprised of 11 sports.
In 2009, Simpson University contacted SpellBrand Inc. to reinvigorate their athletics team with a brand new team mascot and related branding. We created an awesome mascot character logo design that inspired their athletics team to achieve great success.
Simpson University with it’s rich heritage and culture turned to SpellBrand when they wanted to re-brand their sports and athletics teams to help motivate the team members and to inspire them to achieve great results with a new university logo design.
The resulting mascot design was that of a hawk which represented the Simpson University Sports Team’s spirit and endurance. The fierce looking hawk was created to help inspire the young athletes. The mascot is now widely used in Simpson University.
Simpson University athletics started in the 1950’s and now is comprised of 11 sports. Playing in the Cal Pac conference gives Simpson one of the biggest NAIA conferences to compete in. The Cal-Pac conference is composed of Bethany University, Menlo College, William Jessup University, Holy Names University, Mills College, Pacific Union College, and Cal State Maritime.
