Background: Lincoln Elementary in Whittier focuses on academic achievement and social-emotional development but needed revitalized identity around distinctive Snow Leopards mascot.
Our Task: Develop visual identity unifying community, inspiring students, and creating memorable recognition within Whittier City School District.
Our Action: Created poised snow leopard in shield with LINCOLN lockup, distinctive cool blues/gray palette embodying both strength and character.
Outcome: Snow Leopards identity deployed campus-wide. Unique mascot choice and strategic design strengthened school culture and community connection.

Our research revealed several insights that guided our design direction:

- School communities respond strongly to mascots that offer distinctive identification while embodying values they aspire to develop in students.
These insights informed our development of a snow leopard identity that projects both academic excellence and character development—creating a symbol Lincoln students could proudly identify with.
